Everything Happens for a Reason
“I trust that everything happens for a reason, even if we are not wise enough to see it. When there is no struggle, there is no strength.” by Oprah Winfrey.
Do you ever believe that everything happens for a reason in life?
Some people come into our life with a reason or purpose, either to teaching us a lesson, helping us to figure out better who we are or who we want to become. At times, we may not aware who these people would be. Perhaps they are our roommates, neighbourhood, professors, school teachers, long lost friends, schoolmates, lovers or a complete stranger etc.
Sometimes things happen to us and it may be horrible, painful or unfair, but in reflection, we will realise that without overcoming these obstacles, we will not realise our full potential, strength and utmost our will power of heart.
Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Even illness, injury, love, lost moments, true greatness and sheer stupidity are occurring to test our maximum limits. With all these small tests, obstacles, successes or downfalls of our life experiences, all will somehow in creating who we are today.
We are learning from our every life experiences, regardless favourable or unfavourable ones.
If someone hurts us, betrays us, or breaks our heart, we may learn to forgive them as they have helped us to learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom we open our heart to.
If someone loves us, we love them back unconditionally. Not because they love us, but because they are teaching us how to love and opening our heart and eyes to things we would have never seen or felt without them.
Let’s make every day count in our life. We need to learn to appreciate every moment and take from it everything that we possibly can. Do talk to people we have never talked to before, and actually listen, let ourself fall in love, break free and set our sights high. We can make of our life anything we wish for. Let’s create our own life and then go out and live it to fullness.

But how many of us are wise enough whenever a negative experience or every time of struggle, we are able to view it as an opportunity for our tremendous growth?
For an example of everything happens for a reason in our nature life. A butterfly life cycle or named as metamorphosis. Alike to a caterpillar that burrowing from its chrysalis, when all of its forming and changing is completed, its metamorphism has transformed it into a magnificent beautiful butterfly. It has shed its former skin, and flown on the wings of new life and obviously a new way of being.
However, some of us may find it struggle to believe that everything happens for a reason, especially when we are experiencing a grief or loss. At the time, it may be very difficult to see the blessing in it, as all that is being felt is the pain. But it is through our lowest points in life, where we gain the wisdom and allow for new-found strength to emerge. Without loss we wouldn’t appreciate gain, without grief we wouldn’t appreciate the love. Without death, we wouldn’t appreciate life and without fear, we wouldn’t appreciate the love.
We see the pieces of the puzzle begin to come together, each unfolding a beautiful picture. The pain, the turmoil, the struggles and the victories, each essential building blocks to the moulding of who we are today in this present moment.
True chaos, cannot be chaos for as long as there is choice involved. Things may appear to be random, but as we all know appearances lie. Meaningful coincidences and synchronicities may also be viewed as random events with no connection, yet to the eye of the beholder, those events would have a real purpose and meaning.
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life”- by Steve Jobs
